Joshua got a new bed.

He and Iris jumped on it until they were breathless.

Heather was leaving them uninterrupted to act like crazy kids.

I came in late with the camera.

Ari packs to leave.

Iris helps.

We don’t want her to go.

She takes her dog dish,

and her bicycle pump,

and her doggie,

and leaves us.

Now Iris looks like she was born in 1972 instead of 2012!

When Iris was tiny, I hiked Mt. Philo with her lots & lots.

My sister Cate took this photo when Iris was almost five months old.

But now that Iris is bigger, she doesn’t like being carried around all day along.

This means I get less exercise, but Iris gets more exercise.

Today, we finally hiked Mt. Philo again. Our friends went with us.

Little E. and Iris hiked maybe half-way. After a little while, E. decided to take a shortcut.

Unfortunately, the terrain he chose was not too toddler friendly.

Iris and E. explored the summit.

Apparently, E. is pretty sweet on Iris…

I got my camera back from the repair people. They said they had to re-install the firmware. Anytime the dates get all skeewhippy, it’s a firmware issue.  Whatever firmware is. Definitely something that never happened with film cameras.
