I considered it. But I didn’t want TOO much variation; it is, after all, hair. I opted instead for a sort of vat dye. I soak the wool, then I go in & add the pre-mixed dyes with a syringe, into the water, right around the wool. It’s a lot less work than space dying and it’s pretty quick and I think the colors blend better. If I see too strong of a delineation, I squirt water on the area with the syringe and it blends some more.
