The wide-angle lens makes her look miniature. Using a longer focal length reduces such dramatic foreshortening but (1) I don’t have one and (2) I’d’ve’ad to’ve stood on the roof to use it. Portrait photographers recommend using long focal lengths for group shots in order to prevent the people in the back row from looking strangely small.
